The Fifth Annual Triangle Law & Economics Conference is presented by the Law & Economics Society of Duke University School of Law and the Duke Center for Interdisciplinary Decision Sciences (D-CIDES), and is a joint collaboration between Duke Law School, UNC School of Law, and the Fuqua School of Business.
The conference will commence on Thursday, April 10th at 5:00 PM with a Keynote Address by Eric Johnson, the Norman Eig Professor of Business and the Director of the Center for Decision Sciences at Columbia University. Professor Johnson is a leading scholar in behavioral economics, decision science, marketing research, and neuroeconomics. Dr. Johnson’s talk will be held in Geneen Auditorium at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and will be preceded by and followed with a reception at the Fuqua Roof Terrace and the Davis Meeting Room. It is free and open to the public.
On Friday, April 11th, the Conference will continue with panels on behavioral finance, health, fraud and corruption, taxation, energy and climate change, and rethinking behavior-ism. The panels bring together top scholars, policy makers, and leaders in business, law, and government; a partial list of panelists is provided below. Conference registration is free but required; meals will be provided. All panels will be held in the auditorium of Hock Plaza (2424 Erwin Road, Durham), with on-site parking available.
