Professors Farahany, Coleman and Vidmar are seeking a research assistant to assist in an ongoing project on the process of plea bargaining in felony crimes in North Carolina. A special focus will be on the introduction and use of scientific evidence in the plea bargain process. The research assistant will work with the current Law and Biosciences Fellow to compile a review of the relevant academic and legal literature. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
